: Wike Breaks Down in Tears After Heavily Armed Gunmen Did This

, Convenes Emergency meeting for  

Nyesom , the governor of Rivers State, held a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) state chapter emergency stakeholders meeting on Thursday.

This is the first of its sort since his failed bid for the presidency and the accompanying internal crisis that shook the party nationwide.

The meeting’s agenda was not made public, but it might have something to do with a state instruction on what to do next after Wike and his strategy team withdrew from the presidential campaign council of the party’s nominee, former vice president Atiku Abubakar.

Party officials, state executive council members, local government chairmen, and a few other party stalwarts are among those invited to the meeting.

Recall that the governor had vowed to be open about some of the issues that sparked the crisis after the presidential primary results and Atiku’s declaration while choosing his vice presidential running mate. The governor feels betrayed as a result.

Additionally, Wike is credited with adding, “Nothing has happened yet, but something will happen soon.”

Invitees are still arriving at the Rivers State Government House as of the time this report was filed.
