The Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde has acknowledged that his authorities would rely closely on the traditional rulers in the state to improve the security of lives and property.

The Governor, who made the pledge whereas talking at an occasion to mark the 56th birthday of the Olugbon of Orile Igbon, Oba Francis Alao, which was held on the Ilaji Hotels and Resort, stated that he could be always knocking the doorways of the monarchs for consultations and assist to tame insecurity.

While talking on the occasion, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji, congratulated the Olugbon who can be the Vice Chairman, Oyo State Traditional Council.
