IPOB says Nigerian Army did not kill sixteen ESN operatives

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has responded to news that the Nigerian Army attacked an ESN camp in Aba, Abia state, killing at least 16 operatives and injuring others.

According to a top military source who spoke to Newsmen, the Nigerian military and police raided the ESN camp on Tuesday night, killing 16 people.

In response, IPOB said that no operative of the Eastern Security Network was killed by the Nigerian Army or police in Abia State.

Emma Strong, the army’s publicity secretary, requested that the army publish the exact camp of the ESN it attacked and display videos and images of their operations in a statement made available to Ejes Gist.

While photographs of the suspected ESN Operatives being murdered in cold blood have surfaced, IPOB says they are innocent civilians who are not members of the ESN.

“The Nigerian army must avoid deceiving the public.
Allow them to display photos or videos of the ESN agents they killed. The army, police, and air force, as well as all other security forces in Nigeria, are powerless to stop ESN, particularly after they killed innocent people and labelled them ESN operatives.

“Let them announce the location and appearance of the ESN camp. Don’t worry about the army propaganda machine; we’ll recognise them before they arrive and they won’t be able to fool us. ESN is well-established, and Nigerian security agencies are unable to locate them.

Powerful reiterated that the ESN is working nonstop to defend and protect the Southeast’s land and forests.

“Let them in; we’ve been expecting them. Enable them to display the bodies of those they claim to have murdered.”
