In Osun, a vehicle crushed three siblings to death.
Three schoolchildren, believed to be siblings, were reportedly killed on Monday when a commercial vehicle collided with them on the Kajola-Igbominasi Highway in Ilesa, Osun State, Southwest Nigeria.
The siblings were on their way to school before they were crushed to death.
Yemisi Opalola, the police spokesperson in Osun State, confirmed the incident and stated that the police were on top of the situation to restore normalcy to the area.
Highway users are frequently advised by authorities to exercise caution when travelling on the highways.
According to data provided by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the number of people killed in car accidents in Osun continues to rise.
