“When the hoodlums saw the command’s tactical teams approaching the terror camp, they shot at them, and there was a gunfight. Two of the hoodlums were killed by the police’s superior firepower, while the others fled into the bush with bullet wounds. The neutralised hoodlums’ gun, a locally made double barrel pump action gun, was recovered.

“When the community learned of the two terror gangs’ deaths, they rejoiced. They identified him as Modestus Ugwuoha a.k.a. “Modukpe,” an ex-convict and the leader of a terror gang that has been violently robbing and rapping women in their community, while the other was said to be one of his vicious gang members.

Modestus Ugwuoha a.k.a Modukpe and his terror gang masterminded the attack on Njaba Police Station and the murder of a Police Inspector, it is on record. He has been on the Police Command’s wanted list for a long time.

“For now, the command’s tactical teams are searching the bush for fleeing bandits and the possibility of recovering their weapons.”
