Tonye Cole, a Lagos-based businessman, has been elected as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Rivers State.
At the Rivers APC governorship primary on Thursday, Cole received 986 votes, putting him ahead of his closest rival, Ojukaye Flag-Amachree, who received 190 votes.
