The announcement was made by Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, in a statement to the press on Monday. The decision comes amid ongoing corruption allegations against Arabi, who is currently defending himself in a case brought by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

That is the fate of a greedy man. After serving blissfully for more than 35 years withing the corridor of power, he should have been contented and leave public service or opt for politics. Better still, he should have lived above board and resist temptation to steal, especially money meant for Hajj operations.
