Farooq Kperogi, a media scholar, stated on Friday that two leading candidates for the 2023 presidential election, Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar, may be disqualified.
Tinubu represents the incumbent All Progressives Congress (APC), while Atiku represents the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
According to Farooq Kperogi, Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, may become president of Nigeria in 2023, according to Kperogi. He promised to provide additional information on Saturday.
“Peter Obi may become president in 2023, even if he does not win the plurality of votes cast in the presidential election, because Tinubu and Atiku, the two leading candidates, may be disqualified.
“Await further information,” Kperogi wrote on his verified Facebook page.
According to this publication, Atiku and Tinubu’s history extends beyond parties. There are hints of both professional and private relationships.
These two men have been friends for years, promoting and safeguarding each other’s interests. They make no secret of the fact.
In February 2014, Atiku resigned from the PDP to join the newly formed APC.

Since it was impossible for him to realize his dream in the PDP, he switched to the APC, where he eventually ran against Muhammadu Buhari in the presidential primaries but lost.
After losing the APC primaries to Buhari in 2014, Atiku took a back seat in the party until 2017, when he returned to the PDP, his current party, in preparation for the 2019 elections.
