The Presidency has reacted to a statement by Nollywood actress, Omotola
Jalade-Ekeinde describing Nigeria as ‘hellish’ below President Muhammadu
Buhari’s adminstration.

The media stories that Omotola, in a publish on her Twitter web page on Monday
referred to as out Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo over the state of the
nation, coupled with killings throughout the nation.

She wrote: “The Country Under your watch is Hellish! @ProfOsinbajo @MBuhari

“The lack of Money in circulation, now coupled with the continual Assault
and killings by uniformed males. Will make this Country implode! It’s
Unbearable.

“Do something! Insecurity! Fear and Desperation everywhere.”

Reacting, private assistant on new media to President Buhari, Bashir
Ahmad, in a tweet, said that those that had been earning money legitimately
don’t have any criticism concerning the present state of Nigeria.

He wrote: “Madam Omotola those that are working for CLEAN cash aren’t
complaining and can by no means refer our pricey nation as ‘hellish’. In Kano
State alone, from 2015 to 2018, no fewer than 200 medium and small scale
rice milling centres emerged. For that, billions circulated amongst thousands and thousands.”
