Thompson Usiyan Dead or still Alive ?
Thompson Usiyan, a former Green Eagles striker, died at the age of 65 in his Lamest, Redonda Beach home in California.
About 12:15 p.m., a family member of Thompson Usiyan called Sokonnect to confirm the death, which occurred six hours ago in US time.
However, as of press time, details about his death were still sketchy.
Usiyan rose to prominence with the then-Midwestern State academicals before being invited to the senior national team, as previously reported.
Usiyen was the Green Eagles’ leading goal scorer until he left for further studies in America. His departure left a significant void in the national team.
