7 more kidnapped Abuja Kaduna Train passengers have been released

The terrorists who attacked a train travelling from Kaduna to Abuja on March 28 have now freed seven more people.

This was confirmed by Tukur Mamu, media adviser to Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, a contentious Islamic cleric.

Those freed include a woman and a family of six.

Released Kaduna Abuja Train passengers

They were identified as Abubakar Idris Garba (husband), Maryam Abubakar Bobo (wife), Ibrahim Abubakar Garba (eldest son), who is 10 years old, Fatima Abubakar Garba (sister), Imran Abubakar Garba (brother), who is 5 years old, and Zainab Abubakar Garba, who is only 1and half years old.

Kaduna Abuja Train passengers

The National Assembly Service Commission’s Abubakar Idris Garba is a member of staff and the descendant of a former military governor of the states of Kano and Benue.

The Kaduna-Abuja train victims include a 60-year-old woman named Hajia Aisha Hassan who was reportedly released due to life-threatening health issues that recently worsened.
