The body of a woman who was allegedly killed and used for a money ritual has been discovered in Delta state.
Many residents of the polytechnic community Ozoro in Delta state’s Isoko North council area are in a panic after the discovery of a woman’s beheaded body inside an unfinished building used for money ritual.
The body was discovered on Sunday afternoon, according to reports.
Because blood was reportedly drained from the corpse, the case is suspected to be a ritual case.
Because details of the incident were still sketchy at the time of filing this report, it was impossible to determine whether the deceased was a native of the community.
DSP Edafe Bright, a spokesperson for the Delta State Police Command, confirmed the incident to The Nation over the phone when contacted.
“It’s confirmed,” he said. The police are working hard to see if those individuals (suspects) can be apprehended.
“A lady’s body was discovered with her head chopped off and her blood drained. They (the suspects) took her head and blood.”
