The corpse of 1 Odion Omafo Samuel, 36, has been exhumed from the shallow grave he was allegedly buried by 4 officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) connected to Abudu outpost in Edo State.

Police sources stated preliminary investigation confirmed that the late Odion was crushed to demise by the FRSC males as a result of he refused to offer them bribe.

It was learnt that late Odion employed a driver of an Audi 80 automobile they usually have been flagged down at Okhuaihe Hill alongside Benin-Agbor Road October 14, 2019.

Odion joined the driving force to place up a resistance towards alleged extortion makes an attempt the by the FRSC officers and it led to fisticuffs.

The driver was stated to have fled the scene and Odion was crushed to pulp.

He was reportedly rushed to a hospital and docs confirmed him useless on arrival.

The FRSC officers have been stated to have buried him in a bush.

Another police source stated the driving force was arrested for kidnapping after Odion didn’t return residence.

He was stated to have informed his story which led police to hold out detailed investigation and two of the 4 FRSC officers have been arrested.

The two FRSC officers and Samson Alolade took investigators to the bush the place the decomposing physique of Odion was evacuated.

It was learnt that the suspects accused late Odion of snatching their reserving tickets.

Spokesman for Edo State Police Command, , confirmed the incident saying it was a case of homicide.

“Our operatives within the murder part of the State Criminal and Intelligence Investigation Department (SCIID), police headquarters, Benin City are investigating the case.

“It is a case of murder”. DSP Nwabuzor said
