Gunmen Attack in Imo have claimed the lives of at least 4 police Officers

At least four police officers were killed in an attack on the Agwa Divisional Police headquarters in Imo state by gunmen who are wreaking havoc in the country’s southeast.

The incident happened on Friday night when the attackers invaded the neighbourhood and began shooting randomly before breaking into the station.

The incident has reportedly caused tension throughout the entire local government, according to a police source who confirmed the incident to newsmen on Saturday.

He claimed that the shooters destroyed other priceless items and set some of the station’s vehicles on fire.

“The station was attacked, and we found out that about four officers perished. At this time, the extent of the damage cannot be determined,” he said.
