Tension As Police Inspector Found Dead Inside Patrol Van In Delta


Oolloh-Ogwashi-uku, a small village near Ogwash-uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area, Delta State, has been thrown into confusion as an inspector of Police connected to the State Command was discovered useless inside a patrol van within the space.

Sources suspect that the deceased police inspector was sleeping when the hoodlums struck and stabbed him in his sleep contained in the patrol van and took away his rifle after killing him at about eight pm on Thursday evening.

Dependable sources claimed that the attacker(s) whose goal was the riffle could have been monitoring the staff earlier than putting on that fateful evening. The source couldn’t, nevertheless, affirm the whereabouts of different members of the patrol staff on the time of the incident.

Commissioner of Police within the state, Mr Hafiz Inuwa who confirmed the incident, stated a suspect has been arrested with a knife, including that detectives and vigilante members combed the bush across the village.

Inuwa stated different members of the patrol staff and the Divisional Police Officer within the space had been serving to the command in its investigation to unravel the thriller of the demise.
