Abuja tenant kills landlord over rent
After a rent disagreement, a tenant is on the run after reportedly killing his landlord.
On Monday, July 18, in the Dakwa neighborhood of Dei-Dei, Abuja, Muhammed Mukailu is charged with striking Adegoke Tunde.

In a dispute about the unpaid rent, Mukailu is alleged to have beaten their landlord, Adegoke Tunde, in the head with a plank.
The landlord collapsed to the ground and lost consciousness right away.
When Mukailu noticed this, he started to leave.

The landlord was transported to the hospital by his neighbors, where he was admitted and later passed away on Wednesday, July 20, two days later.
