Super Eagles forward Taiwo Awoniyi has shared his motivation for joining English Premier League club Nottingham Forest.
Prior to the 2022–2023 premier league season, the striker recently closed a £17.5 million transfer to The Reds.
The forward explained to the Nottingham Forest press that the team’s coach, Steven Cooper, had an impact on his decision.
“The meetings and conversations we had with the head coach at Forest really stood out. I can tell how driven and ambitious he is about his work,” the striker declared.
Taiwo Awoniyi responded, “I feel terrific,” when asked how he felt about joining the freshly promoted premier league team. “I’m overjoyed to be here. When I consider the project, I am eager to get started.
“The meetings and conversations we had with the head coach at Forest really stood out. I can tell how determined and ambitious he is about his work.
“My goal is to never stop working, and I regard him as a role model for me to grow under.
“For me, success always comes down to perseverance, hard effort, and faith in God. It was always about the team for me when I think back on the games with Union Berlin.
