Supporters of Sunday Adeyemo alias , the besieged Yoruba Nation agitator, have flocked to the Cour De’appal De Cotonou for his trial.

Yoruba-speaking fans, particularly from the southwest, and Benin Republic natives, said they were in court ahead of Igboho’s arrival, who was arrested in the country last week.

As a show of solidarity,  Ejes Gist learned that a Yoruba rights group, Isokan Omo Odua, had mobilised supporters for the embattled supporter.

The Nation was able to view the nervous fans outside the court premises waiting for Igboho in a BBC Yoruba live broadcast on Monday.

Others waited eagerly inside the courtroom for the hearing to begin.

Igboho had not yet arrived at the court when this article was written.

According to the BBC journalist, Igboho’s wife, Ropo, and various traditional monarchs have been seen visiting the courthouse.

There was also no strong security presence at the court’s entrance.

The hearing is scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m.
