Sunday Igboho Burnt Down A Fulani Community In Ogun State
The Miyyeti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, Ogun State Branch, alleged that another Fulani community in the Igua area of Yewa North in the state was destroyed by a popular activist, Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho.

MACBAN State Chairman Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Dende told reporters that the house of Alhaji Adamu Oloru, the Sarkin Fulani of Igua, had been burned down by Mr. Igbo’s youth.

“The houses were burnt down, and that of Sarkin Fulani, Alhaji Adamu Oloru, who was in Igua on [Monday] evening. They set the cattle market ablaze as well.

“We contacted the security agents, including the DSS, because we were aware that he was coming.”
We listened to the information on the radio and learned that the state government welcomed him. We are helpless because we don’t have anyone to protect us. A lot of our people are scattered in the bush right now,’ he said.
A Fulani Herdsman, identified as Jiji Danmawale, was found to have been killed in the inferno. Meanwhile, on Monday evening, Mr. Igboho visited Ogun state, revealing that he was invited by the state government.
The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, has confirmed the incident to Ejes Gist Nigeria,
Speaking with our correspondent in Abeokuta, Oyeyemi said the state Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun, led a team of policemen to Igua for an on-the-spot assessment.
He said the Police Commissioner had a peace talk with the Fulanis and the host, saying they have all agreed to work together to fish out the criminal elements among them for peace to reign.
