Ohanaeze Ndigbo has issued a stern warning to Igbo politicians and antiquated elders to stop begging President Buhari when they contribute to the reasons why Nnamdi Kanu is being detained.

This was contained in a statement obtained by Ejes Gist News signed by Secretary-General, .

According to Okechukwu, “There are cliche of southeast politicians who will cry foul over Nnamdi Kanu’s incarceration in the morning, but in the night they have perfected the plans to exploit the young man’s pains for their political aspirations in various ways.

Nnamdi Kanu believes that he will receive a fair judgement and will be released at God’s appointed time. “He has shown courage that he is not disturbed by President Buhari’s recent pronouncements.”

The President has taken a firm decision to allow the judiciary to do its work, why would shameless Igbo Elders and politicians still begging over a closed posse?”

Nnamdi Kanu is making history in the same way that did, though his journey to freedom will be shorter.
