You Want to Ignite War Reno Omokri tackles Malami
In response to the threat by the Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami, to declare a state of emergency in Anambra State in the wake of the crisis in the state, Pastor Reno Omokri has spoken out.
Pastor Omokri was a former aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan.
In his remarks following the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Wednesday, Malami said, “When our national security is threatened, and the sanctity of our constitutionally guaranteed democracy is threatened, no possibility is ruled out.”
The Federal Government, according to a senior government official, has decided that the Anambra election in 2021 will take place, and it will ensure that adequate security is provided for the exercise.

In the words of Omokri, Malami’s planned decision could be “the spark that ignites what he is unable to put out.”
Abubakar Malami’s threat to declare a state of emergency in Anambra may very well be the spark that ignites what he can’t put out. How can you leave Borno, Yobe, Kaduna, Zamfara and Niger (where Boko Haram controls 500 communities) and declare emergency in Anambra?” Omokri wrote via his known Twitter handle.
The Anambra State election is set for 6 November.
