The Southern Kaduna Baptist Conference has pledged its unflinching support to the quest for peace, unity and development of the region and the state in general
President of the Conference Reverend Dr. Donald Yohanna Arak made this known during a courtesy visit to the Council’s Chairman of Jema’ a Local Government, Kaduna State.
Reverend Arak who emphasized the need for peace and unity as catalyst for growth and development, assured the chairman of their continued cooperation and prayers to enable the Council succeed in the fight against insecurity and other challenges bedeviling the area.
Responding, the Council’ s Chairman Jema’a Local Government Mr. Peter Danjuma Averik called on the two major religious bodies in the area to continue to propagate the message of peace toward contributing meaningfully to the development of the area.
Mr. Averik attributed the existing cordial relationship between the Council and southern Kaduna Baptist Conference, and the successes the council has recorded within the period of two years to the cooperation and prayers of both the christian and Muslim clerics in the area
He lauded the landmark contributions of southern Kaduna Baptist Conference in Jema’a Local Government especially in the areas of education and health and promised continued support of the council to the conference to enhance growth and development of the church.
