A pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in FESTAC Town, Lagos State’s Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area, was attacked and killed by suspected converts.
Pastor Babatunde Dada, according to reports, was murdered inside the RCCG Chapel of Resurrection on 13 Road, 6th Avenue, FESTAC Town.

The killing, which occurred on December 2, was allegedly carried out by two new converts who had attended the church for the first time the Sunday before the incident.
During an altar call, the two youths were said to have come out and surrendered their lives to Jesus.
They were accommodated on the church grounds after claiming to be stranded.
They had only been in the church for a week when they allegedly stabbed the cleric to death.
