“One Victoria Nwafor reported seeing a 14-year-old girl on December 22, 2021, in Yaba, Lagos, with a very sick two-year-old boy,” the PPRO said.

“She went on to say that the little girl was begging for alms under the guise that the small boy was her younger brother and that their parents had died in a horrifying accident in December 2020,” she said.

“The woman took both of them to her house in Sagamu out of compassion, in order to care for the little boy’s deteriorating health.”
