Sex For Marks: We won’t dance naked with you–AAU blasts Dr. Igbafe

The  management of Ambrose Alli University, AAU has said that it will not join Dr. Igbafe in any mudslinging over sex for mark allegation against him, but will instead focus on the revolutionary and spectacular infrastructural development going on in the institution.
This was made known by the Deputy Registrar, information/public relation officer,  Mr Edward Aivhba during a press briefing  with newsmen at Ekpoma, Edo state.
Mr. Aivhba maintained that the likes of Dr. Igbafe who dwell in all forms of negativities like the sex for mark levelled against him among others like constant denigration of the leadership of constituted authorities in the institution can no longer thrive.
“The university is tired of  activities aimed at harassing members of the University students, staff and everyone that have a matter with the so called Dr. Igbafe”.
“Dr. Igbafe is a notorious petitioner who stops at nothing and in various times have petitioned the police,  press,  the University, students and staff.  His own union members, vice chancellors and his wife as well as other officers of the University”.
The deputy registrar who was reacting to a recent publication in Tell magazine,  where Dr.  Igbafe made some statements indicting the vice chancellor, noted that his recent petition to the police is another attempt to insult the well respected vice chancellor of the institution who has worked so hard by transforming the institution into one of the best in the country within 3 years.
He further revealed that the public should now be put on notice that there is a due process of trial going on against Dr. Igbafe within the University and warned him against making it a media trial.
He advised Dr Igbafe to desist from making his trial a media trial buy instead should exercise restraint and patience pending when the panel set up by the institution comes up with its final report.
It would be recalled that Dr. Monday Igbafe was accused of sexually harassing students of the institution and has  been told to face the case against him instead of using the media to mislead the general public.
