DSS Slams Former Minister of Aviation,

Osita Chidoka, a former minister of aviation, has been made fun of by the Department of State Security Services (DSS) for some recent remarks he made about the nation’s security.

Following an appearance on Sunrise Daily, a Channels Television program, monitored by our correspondence, when he questioned the country’s security architecture, Chidoka made headlines a few days ago.

He also stated that there are no first-class graduates working for the country’s intelligence organizations.

Many individuals overlook the fact that security services recruit at the state level, ensuring that every state is represented.

“When you reach the top, you learn that the leaders of the security agencies will only be persons from a specific region of the nation.

That immediately becomes an issue since the workers from the other region of the country start to show a carefree attitude about their jobs.

Peter Afunanya(Fsi, Phd), the DSS spokesperson, responded in a statement on Wednesday, saying Chidoka was blatantly uninformed of the country’s security procedures.

The statement states, “Mr. Chidoka talked as a politician, and the DSS does not join issues with politicians.”

“The need-to-know, need-to-hold, and need-to-access concepts underlie intelligence activity.

Mr. Chidoka is not currently using any security platforms, thus he cannot understand how the DSS or the intelligence community function.

He lacks any prior expertise, competence, or practice in fundamental intelligence.

With regard to certain areas of his analysis, particularly those that relate the DSS, “Chidoka displayed lack of knowledge or outright ignorance.”
