Sanwo-Olu has banned Okada in six Lagos councils
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has banned the operation of commercial motorcycles known as Okadas In six Local Governments in Lagos.
During a meeting with police chiefs in Lagos, the Governor declared the ban “indefinite and total.”

This comes after some Okada riders allegedly stabbed and burned a sound engineer, David Imoh, for N100 on Admiralty Way in Lekki, Lagos, last Thursday.
The Lagos Police Command and other security agencies have been asked to enforce the ban, according to Sanwo-Olu.

Ikeja, Surulere, Eti-Osa, Lagos Mainland, Lagos Island, and Apapa are the governor’s six local governments.
