Samuel Eto’o Elected President Of Cameroon Football Association

Samuel Eto’o has been elected President of the Cameroon Football Association.

The former Barcelona and Inter Milan star received 43 votes to defeat acting president Seidou Mbombo Njoya, who received 31 votes.

He will now lead the country’s football team when they host the Africa Cup of Nations in January (AFCON).

Samuel Eto’o will take over an organization that has been tainted by infighting, mismanagement, and allegations of corruption for a long time.

Seidou Mbombo Njoya, the fourth vice-president of the Confederation of African Football, was defeated by the four-time African Footballer of the Year (CAF).

Seven candidates were supposed to run in the elections, but five of them dropped out on election day.

Samuel Eto’o has been elected Cameroon Football Association President.

Eto’o, who is 40 years old, has promised a slew of reforms to help his country’s sport thrive, and now he has his chance.

“We need to put footballers at the center of our policies,” Eto’o said.

“It is our responsibility to ensure that those who participate in this sport make a decent living doing so.”

“I’ve spoken to the business community, and we’re confident we’ll find the right investors to help us achieve our goals,” Eto’o said before the election.
