There was even more confusion this morning when some objects thought to be a “sacrifice” were discovered in front of Abuja House, 2 Campden Hill, Kensington, London.
Nigerians living abroad are demonstrating against President Muhammadu Buhari at the Nigeria House in London.
The President is now in London, where he will spend two weeks undergoing medical examinations.
Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide and broadcaster, led a group of demonstrators to the Nigeria House gate, brandishing placards with various inscriptions, to express their displeasure with the medical journey.
They challenged the President’s decision to seek care in London after struggling to establish even a single hospital in Nigeria.

“He left Nigeria on the first day of the doctors’ strike.
“He isn’t building hospitals for people, but he comes here to enjoy the best of a law-and-order country. Why isn’t he able to do that in his own country?”
“All of his children attended school in England. He hasn’t established a single Nigerian school. They all come here when they’re sick,” Omokri explained.

When asked how the fetish object ended up at the gate, a protester said that it was brought there by someone who had no idea what it meant.
“While we were protesting, this thing arrived. It was delivered by anyone. We don’t know what it says, and we don’t know how to view it.”
