Rufai Oseni, of the host of the Arise TV show, has been fined 70,000 for breaking a Lagos traffic law.
He was taken into custody on Monday in Lagos for using the BRT lane, which raised eyebrows because he claimed that police officers had pointed guns at him.

However, Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesman for the Lagos police command, provided updates on the case on Tuesday.
Mr. Rufai Oseni appeared in court earlier today, according to Hundeyin. He was affirmed to have broken the Lagos State Transport Law (2018). He was then awarded a fine of 70,000 Naira. After making the payment, he received access to his vehicle.
