On Monday, August 23, Targema issued the following order:

“that the claimant/applicant and the defendant/respondent immediately cease all forms of hostilities pending the hearing and decision of the motion on notice.”

“Having carefully examined the affidavit of extreme urgency, the application’s grounds, the affidavit in support of the application, and the arguments of the applicant’s counsel. On the law as it stands on this application, I also considered counsel’s submissions and arguments.

“It is hereby ordered that claimant/applicant and defendant/respondent immediately cease all hostilities pending the hearing and decision of the motion on notice.”

The case was adjourned until September 15 for a hearing on the motion on notice and/or any other pending application on its merits, according to Justice Targema.

Before the next adjourned date, the judge also ordered that the proof of service be kept in the case file.
