Helen Paul, a well-known Nigerian comedian, has been appointed as a professor and the head of Heart Bible International University’s Department of Arts, Music, and Entertainment in the United States.
The university is a Florida education department-accredited online Christian Institute for religious studies.
On Monday, the 39-year-old actress announced her academic achievement on Instagram.
Ms. Paul shared photos from her induction ceremony and congratulated her husband, Femi Bamisile, on his Doctor of Law degree from the same institution.
Nike Adeyemi, the wife of Daystar Church pastor Sam Adeyemi, also earned a doctorate from the same university.
In 2019, the comedienne, who moved to the United States a few years ago, received a PhD in Theatre Arts from the University of Lagos.

On the radio show Wetin Dey on Radio Continental 102.3FM in Lagos, she made her debut as a naughty comic character.
On the show, she was known as “Tatafo,” a witty kid who satirically addresses and lampoons societal issues.
She has also hosted shows on TVC and Naija FM 102.7.
