President Muhammadu Buhari is holding talks with Ohanaeze Ndigbo and other Southeast leaders.
The meeting is taking place at Government House Abakaliki’s New Exco Chambers.

George Obiozor, the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, is leading other members of the apex socio-cultural group to the gathering.
Governor David Umahi is also in attendance, as is the Chairman of the Southeast Governors Forum.

Ohanézè is expected to present Buhari with critical regional issues.
This includes the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Other topics expected to be discussed include the president of the southeast extraction and the region’s security situation.
