President Buhari Makes Another Appointment
President Muhammadu Buhari has re-appointed Professor Segun Ajiboye for another five years as Chief Executive/Registrar of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).

On Tuesday, Ajiboye received his letter of reappointment from the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education, Architect Sunday Echono.

Professor Ajiboye expressed gratitude to President Obama for reaffirming his faith in him for another five years.
Professor Ajiboye, who stated that hard work is rewarded with more hard work, stated that he would continue to reposition the teaching profession to international standards.
TRCN’s boss also stated that in the next five years, he would work to improve the welfare of Nigerian teachers and expand the use of technology in the classroom.
Professor Ajiboye, who thanked TRCN staff for a successful first term, urged more support from TRCN staff to help the Council achieve its lofty goals.
“I’d like to express my gratitude to Mr. President for re-appointing me. The president has issued me with yet another challenge: to put the vision into action. We will deliver, together with my TRCN team. Teachers’ well-being and the use of technology in the teaching profession will be pursued over the next five years. We will improve teaching professor professionalism to ensure that the Nigerian teaching profession remains among the best in the world.”
The TRCN Registrar, on the other hand, began a new five-year term on September 1st.
