Police take over PDP secretariat
On Thursday, armed police officers were spotted at the Peoples Democratic Party’s secretariat in Abia State.

The policemen imposed restrictions on entry and exit from the secretariat, which is located on Finbars Road in Umuahia.
They were said to be working with “an order from above”.

Fabian Nwankwo, the Abia PDP’s Publicity Secretary, said party members and officials had been asked to observe one day of rest at home.
