Police Arrest 3 Suspects with Containers Of Fresh Human Blood in Delta


Three suspected ritualists were detained with a jar filled with fresh human blood in Delta State by members of the Dragon Patrol Team on normal stop and search duty.

Monday Nwite, 27, Madabuchi Nweke, 26, and Nwite Sunday, 21, are among the suspects.

The suspects are all from Ebenta village in the Ohaukwu LGA of Nigeria’s Ebonyi State.

They were apprehended after police stopped a commuter bus travelling from Asaba to Kwale and ordered all passengers to submit to a search.

Three suspects were discovered with a container filled with fresh human blood during the search.

The three suspects were apprehended by the police right away.

In a statement signed by the Acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, the Delta State Police Command, led by CP Ari Muhammed Ali, confirmed the report.

“During interrogation, the suspects confessed to murdering some unknown persons in Ebonyi State and were on their way with the murdered person’s blood to a native doctor whose identity is unknown for the time being but resides in Kwale,” the Police Image maker said.

“They were taking the blood to the claimed native doctor for ritual purposes,” Edafe explained.

“They also had a rosary necklace with charms,” says the narrator.

“Investigation is ongoing,” he said.
