Photos of AIG Attack have Emerge Online
The Assistant Inspector General of Police for Zone 12 with headquarters in Bauchi, Audu Madaki, was injured and one of his police guards was killed in an ambush on his convoy by gunmen suspected of being terrorists.
It was reported that the AIG was traveling from Bauchi State to Abuja when he was ambushed and attacked by suspected terrorists.

Tuesday, August 2, at approximately 2.30 p.m., an attack reportedly occurred between the Barde and Jagindi regions of Bauchi.
A source at the Zone 12 headquarters informed Newsmen that during the attack, Madaki was shot and injured, while his orderly was killed.
