Peter Obi visits Former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan to discuss issues pertaining to Nigeria
Peter Obi Visits Goodluck Jonathan: In preparation for the presidential election that will take place in Nigeria the next year, Peter Obi, the candidate for the Labour Party (LP), paid a visit to Goodluck Jonathan, Nigeria’s previous president.
During the encounter, Obi claims that he and Jonathan discussed matters that are of significant importance to the nation and exchanged their perspectives with one another.
On Thursday, the former governor of Anambra posted pictures from the visit to his Twitter page.
He also maintained that the conversation that took place during the visit covered a variety of issues of national interest that are relevant to the upcoming election.
“Recently, I had the opportunity to meet with my elder brother, H.E. @GEJonathan, in order to discuss a wide range of important issues pertaining to the national interest. -PO,” Obi wrote as the caption for each picture.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that the campaign period for elections to the presidency and the National Assembly will begin on September 28, 2022.
However, the campaign period for elections to governorships and state houses of assembly will begin on October 12, 2022.

The conclusion of political parties’ campaigns for the presidency and the National Assembly will take place at midnight on February 23, 2023.
The conclusion of campaigns for governorships and state assemblies will take place at midnight on March 9, 2023.
