Peter Obi: Ohanaeze Blows Hot says Mbaka needs spiritual, psychological help

has applauded the Enugu Diocese of Catholic Church, led by Bishop Onaga, for issuing a swift rebuke to the inflammatory and unwarranted attack on Labour Party Presidential candidate and Catholic brethren, Mr. Peter Obi.

Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, the Secretary-General of , issued a statement on Friday morning urging Nigerians to pray for Mbaka, whom he described as in need of spiritual and psychological assistance.

“We were not surprised that Fr. Mbaka was paid by a southeast governor to sow seeds of discord in an attempt to derail Mr. Peter Obi’s celebrity status and national acceptance as a unifying Presidential candidate for Nigerians,” Ohanaeze said.

Fr. Camillus Ejike Mbaka recently praised Senator Chimaroke Nnamani, whom he once branded as the then-killer Governor of Enugu State in 2001.

In the past, Fr. Mbaka apologized to Ex-Governor Ikedi Ohakim, whom he was instrumental in removing from office through his infamous hype and propaganda.

“Mbaka is human and will make mistakes; he needs our prayers, psychological and spiritual support to recover, and we know that the Enugu Diocese of the Catholic Church has privately advised him to avoid political pronouncements.”

“Go and Sin No More, Fr. Mbaka, we implore Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s Presidential candidate, to find a way to forgive Mbaka, because to err is human, and to forgive is Divine.”

“Nigerians are waiting with bated breath for more paid agents from southeastern Nigeria to be hired to carry out a smear campaign against the new Nigerian movement, ‘Take Back Nigeria Mantra,’ led by millions of Nigerians for Mr. Peter Obi.”
