African Action Congress Presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore has Lambasted the former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi stated that he is part of the “Old system”

Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), has stated that his rival from the Labour Party, Peter Obi, is a part of the old system.

Sowore made this statement during an appearance on the programme ‘Politics Today,’ which aired on Channels Television on Friday night.

He stated, “Peter Obi is a part of the outdated system that I’ve worked against my entire life.” I am able to see things from his point of view.

“This is 1999 all over again Nigerians want change, some young people are genuinely interested in change to a different direction, and then they are presented with somebody who worked for the establishment; somebody who has been in the Peoples Democratic Party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, came back to the PDP, and is now in the Labour Party.”

Even if it can make us emotional, that cannot change the fact that it is the truth, he added.

“He’s been a part of this corrupt system for quite some time. someone who served as governor of Anambra for a total of eight years. He was not responsible for the construction of any schools, industries, or power plants during his time in office. He’s not the progressive I’m looking for.”
