The Peoples Democratic Party‘s National Working Committee approved an update to the Party’s Timetable and Schedule of Activities for the 2023 general election on Wednesday night, which shifted the dates of the Party’s Governorship and Senatorial primary elections, among others.
This is contained in a statement signed late Wednesday by the Party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, titled ‘2023: The PDP updates its timetable and schedule of activities.’
According to Ologunagba, the new schedule is as follows: “Local Government Area Congress to elect one National Delegate and one Person with Disabilities per LGA: Tuesday, May 10, 2022.”

Wednesday, May 18, 2022: State House of Assembly (State Constituency Congress).
“Primary Elections for the House of Representatives: Friday, May 20, 2022.
“Primary Elections in the Senate District: Saturday, May 21, 2022.
“May 23, 2022, Governorship Primaries.”
As a result, the NWC urged all aspirants to various positions, critical stakeholders, party members nationwide, and relevant government agencies to take note of the changes.
