PDP Chieftain, launch online BAT Campaign

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for president, Bola Tinubu, has been referred to as the most successful governor in contemporary Nigeria by Chimaroke Nnamani, a former governor of Enugu state, PDP chief, and serving senator.

On Wednesday, August 10, Nnamani stated on Twitter that he would support Atiku Abubakar, the ’s (PDP) presidential candidate, in the 2023 election, but that he would rather spend his time supporting Tinubu.

Despite praising Tinubu, the PDP senator claimed that his vote was “covered by the umbrella per my party, PDP, and our candidate, Atiku Abubakar.”

From 1999 to 2007, Tinubu and Nnamani both held the positions of governor of Lagos and Enugu State, respectively.

He praised the for the changes he oversaw as governor of Lagos in the areas of criminal justice, education, healthcare, and employment of non-indigenous people.

Nnamani added that Tinubu had the nation’s top mentorship programme. “I needed to talk to him about jobs for Enugu spouses. He raised the bar for teacher pay in the education sector by introducing Tutor General, according to Nnamani.

He worked tirelessly to improve Lagos State’s infrastructure (roads and housing).

Lagos State’s IGR increased under Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership from 600 million Naira per month to over 8 billion Naira per month. He had a distinguished record as governor.

“His state accounted for more than 30% of the GDP of our nation, more than 65% of industrial investment in Nigeria, 80% of its foreign trade, and more than 60% of the nation’s value-added tax collection.
