BREAKING: PDP Chairman, Adegbola Dominic Is Dead

Dr Dominic Adegbola, the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party () in , died on Wednesday at the age of 73.

Barr. Taofik Gani, the party’s spokesman, confirmed the news over the phone, saying the chieftain died at Gbagbada General Hospital after falling ill for a few days and receiving treatment.

It will be recalled that he was recently reinstated as the state party chairman by a High Court ruling.

Dominic, a medical doctor, was a member of the now-defunct Action Group (AG), which was led by the sage Chief Obafemi Awolowo.

He had previously held positions in politics such as State SDP officer, State Chairman of PAC, and National Chairman of APN (Founded by late Jakande).

He ran for governor on the APGA platform, and he also ran for the Social Democratic Party’s West Senatorial primary, where he faced Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
