The emergence of Senator Ovie Omo Agege as DSP and number 5 citizen of Nigeria cannot be overemphasized but can only be described as divine and answer to the cry of many whose voices have been suppressed into oblivion for decades, hope for ordinary citizens, DSP Omo Agege has been strategically placed in a position to unite and build a bridge across the Niger Delta and a link to every other part of Nigeria as a Nation. We have before us a new Political direction and a common interest to be supported, defended by all who mean well for the Niger Delta Region, the task before DSP Ovie Omo-Agege is a herculean and the demands of our people are enormous, in Unity and with sincerity of purpose the dividend of Democracy and rapid development will be brought closer to the people. We the Indigenous People of Niger Delta (IPND) want to use this medium to appeal to The DSP to intervene on some immediate challenges facing the Niger Delta people mostly in the Rural Communities who bear the immediate effects of Oil exploration either as host Communities or impacted Communities,

The IPND Bill of Rights Declarations are products of extensive research and we are confident that the implementation of the Declarations shall bring about sustainable solution to the many socio-economic and socio-political problems of Nigeria, which include the security problem,We must commend the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration for the increase in Port Activities in Warri Port and Onne over the last six months, A quick start of the EPZ project and other industrialization initiatives will be of great benefit to the Niger Delta Region and we also want the Government to expedite the Ogoni clean up project.
