Former Federal Lawmaker, Shehu Sani has revealed one of the cause of the PDP Crisis

Former Federal Legislator, Senator Shehu Sani has warned of further trouble If the current issue in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP is not resolved internally soon,

Recall that following the conclusion of the PDP primaries, Atiku Abubakar, the party’s presidential candidate, and Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, engaged in verbal combat.

As a solution for the two sides’ reconciliation, Wike’s camp has demanded Iyorchia Ayu, the party’s National Chairman, quit.

However, Senator Ayu had pledged to finish his term, arguing that he was chosen to lead the party for a period of four years.

In response to the crisis’s escalating, Shehu Sani said on his verified Facebook page that if the problems are not resolved internally, provocative words might not be prohibited in the coming weeks.

He declared that party members would “jump into the fire” if the problem could not be resolved.

“What is occurring in the PDP is awful,” he wrote. Reconciliation seems to have very little room to manoeuvre.

Forces from outside are heavily involved. Although it is urged that no one speak in an inflammatory manner, there won’t be any room for neutrality or silence in the coming weeks.

“We shall jump into the fire if the internal fire cannot be put out by reason.”

In reports making rounds, Aisha Yesufu has also blamed the current crisis of PDP on Atiku Abubakar’s indecisive nature to control and manage properly the issues of the party.
