“All members of the party have the right to choose who will carry the party’s flag…

I was one of the candidates myself, and I don’t expect anything less.

“I’d like to appeal to all of our people throughout the state to keep the peace.” This election should not be viewed as a battleground. It shouldn’t be a life-or-death situation.

“Violence should be avoided at all costs.” Allow everyone the opportunity to vote on who should be our party’s candidate. That, I believe, is the process, and contrary to popular belief, it has gone very well.

“I’ve called a number of locations across the state, and I believe the process has been conducted in a peaceful manner.”

“It is their choice not to be at the ward,” he said, referring to the absence of other aspirants’ agents in some voting centers. We had the stakeholders meeting yesterday, and we are all expected to have our agents around here, so I’m not bothered in the least.

“By God’s grace, I’ll win.” I’d like to make an appeal to all of us to see this as a family issue. It’s all APC from start to finish.

“We should prepare ourselves for the upcoming challenge. In this campaign, we’ll be up against another party that we don’t yet know about.”
