The husband of gospel singer, Sister Osinachi Nwachukwu, has been arrested by the FCT police command.
After the late singer’s brother reported a case of suspected homicide to the police, Mr Nwachukwu was arrested by men from the Lugbe police division today, April 10.

This comes amid reports that he has beaten late Osinachi severely over the years.
DP Joseph Adeh, a spokesperson for the FCT police command, confirmed the suspect’s arrest and said he is now in police custody.

She stated that he was arrested on suspicion of culpable homicide and that the investigation is still ongoing.
On Sunday, Osinachi’s sister, Ms Favor Made, the family’s first daughter, confirmed the reports, saying that Osinachi died as a result of a cluster of blood in the chest, not throat cancer.
She claimed the late suffered from a blood clot as a result of her husband, Peter Nwachukwu, kicking her.
