Onome Oyaide is dead, Nigerians Mourn.
The death of one of Rhythm FM’s On-Air Personalities, Onome Oyaide, was announced on Sunday, and the station was plunged into mourning.
Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi, a fellow Beat FM OAP, announced his death.
In their shock at the sad news, colleagues and friends took to social media to express their condolences and also to reflect on Onome’s significant role in the industry.
Onome Oyaide was a phenomenal radio personality on Rhythm 93.7FM. His industry colleagues have rushed to their social media platforms to express their condolences.

“Rest in peace, Big Tyme,” Olateru-Olagegi tweeted on Sunday. Sigh. “I’m just a nice, happy guy.”
According to a source close to the deceased, the day before his untimely death, he was active on social media.

Tracy Chapele-Ugo, better known as Suo, a Wazobia FM OAP, also paid tribute to the deceased, sharing a photo of him and saying, “One minute he was tweeting just fine, larger than life.” Onome Oyaide is gone in the blink of an eye. Big Tyme, RIP @937RhythmFM
