Dowen College is owned by the parents of female singer Lami Phillips, who is currently the Director of Students and External Affairs, according to this newspaper’s findings.

 

Lami Phillips, Dowen College Director of Students and External Affairs, was expected to issue a public statement expressing concern and sympathy to calm the social media outrage, but the female singer, who had previously spoken out when Governor Ambode demolished a pedestrian bridge built by the school a few years ago, had since gone into hiding and refrained from making public statements since the incident occurred, resulting in a feces splash on her image on social media.
