Osun monarch, Olufon of Ifon-Orolu is dead

Oba Almaroof Adekunle Magbagbeola Olumoyero II, the , in the Orolu local government area of Osun State, has died.

After a brief illness, the first-class king died on Tuesday.

Despite the fact that there was no official correspondence from the palace at the time of filing this article, Ejes Gist was able to confirm that the Oba Olumoyero had died after a brief illness.

Mourners, mostly residents of the region, have gathered at the monarch’s palace to express their sorrow and sympathise with the monarch.

When contacted by Ejes Gist Nigeria, Prince Jide Akinyooye, the National Publicity Secretary of the Ifon-Orolu Progressive Union,  remained silent on the matter.

“Wait for official contact from the governor,” he plainly said.
